Here at PlayDeRecord, customers have told us they love the ease of use and audio quality that comes from using their PreSonus FireWire Interfaces. But in our digital age, we find that musicians are also craving mobility and flexibility in their recording options. That’s why we were so thrilled to hear that PreSonus has released a FireWire studio interface that provides enhanced audio performance that’s as portable as your laptop.
Introducing the PreSonus FireStudio Mobile recording interface.
This next-generation portable FireWire recording interface features the same superior analog circuit architecture and advanced platform technology of their world-famous FireStudio rackmount interfaces, but has been streamlined and enhanced so that it can run on BUS power from your laptop.
But despite is lightweight, compact design, the PreSonus FireStudio Mobile still packs a lot of professional-quality power and functionality.
At 10 inputs, this unit boasts the highest number of inputs available on any mobile interface. Amongst these inputs, you’ll find 2 quarter-inch XLR mic instrument jacks which are fed into the industry-acclaimed XMAX class-A preamplifiers which offer smooth highs, solid deep lows, and everything in between. The high-impedance quarter-inch instrument jacks allow you to plug your bass or guitar directly into the front panel. And on the back of the device, you’ll find 6 balanced line level inputs and a MIDI – S/PDIF connector for digital I/O. And of course, the PreSonus FireStudio also includes 2 FireWire ports: one connects to your computer, and the other can be connected to a hard drive or daisy-chained with other devices.
This is serious recording studio power that’s light and compact enough to take anywhere you go.
