The Novation TWITCH was developed in partnership with Serato, and comes package with Serato’s ITCH software.
With its rugged aluminium top panel, the TWITCH is very tough. But it’s still small and compact enough to carry with you for shows on the go, and fits nicely inside of a laptop bag.
It also maps to other software for use as a MIDI controller, and integrates seamlessly with Abletton Live.
The layout is very intuitive.
The touch strip can be used to navigate to points in tracks, nudge tracks backwards or forwards, swipe tracks or drop tracks.
How cues let you jump to any point in your track with the push of a button, or they can also be used as sample triggers.
The slicer is a unique innovation that’s only available on TWITCH. It allows you to break songs into sections and rearrange them into any order and create completely new breaks. You can also alter the length of the slices with the push of a button.
Auto-loop allows you to assign different loops to each of the 8 pads. These loops can also be manipulated and modified in a variety of ways through the console interface.
Loop rolls allow you to drop in a loop while another track is playing, so that you can re-join a track without having to hold it in one place while the loop is engaged.
